🌾 Ingredients
  • ¾ cup ragi flour
  • ¾ cup bajra flour
  • 1½ cups rice flour
  • 1 cup besan (gram flour)
  • 1 cup urad dal flour
  • 1 tbsp cumin seeds
  • 2 tsp red chilli powder
  • ¼ tsp hing (asafoetida)
  • 1 tbsp melted butter
  • 2 cups lukewarm water
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil for frying
🔥 Method
  1. Dry roast all flours for 4–6 minutes until aromatic.
  2. Cool completely before mixing.
  3. Add chilli powder, cumin seeds, hing & salt.
  4. Pour in melted butter and mix well.
  5. Add lukewarm water gradually and knead soft dough.
  6. Divide dough into portions.
  7. Kodubale: Shape into small ring bangles.
  8. Murukku: Press spirals using chakli maker.
  9. Fry in medium-hot oil until golden brown.
  10. Drain excess oil and cool completely.
