🥬 Palak Puree
Handful of palak (spinach) leaves
2 green chillies
¼ cup water
🧺 Chakli Ingredients
2 cups rice flour
½ cup besan (gram flour)
2 tbsp roasted chana dal powder
½ tsp jeera (cumin seeds)
Pinch of hing (asafoetida)
Salt to taste
1 tsp butter (room temperature)
¼ cup water (or as required)
👩🍳 Method
Blend palak, green chillies and water into a smooth puree.
Mix rice flour, besan, chana dal powder, jeera, hing, salt and butter.
Add palak puree and mix well.
Knead into a soft, smooth dough adding water gradually.
Fill dough into chakli maker with star nozzle.
Press spirals onto a plate or parchment paper.
Deep fry in medium-hot oil until crisp and golden.
Drain excess oil and cool completely.
Serving Suggestion:
Enjoy crispy Palak Chakli with masala tea or masala milk for a healthy and flavorful snack.
